Kelowna is the oldest CMA (census metropolitan area) • According to the most recent census, there were proportionally more people aged 65 and over in 2006 than in 2001 in every census metropolitan area in the country. The magnitude of the senior population differed by CMA, as the percentage of seniors ranged from single digits, at one extreme, to double digits at the other.
With 19. 0% of its population, or nearly one person in five, aged 65 and older, Kelowna (British Columbia) was the oldest CMA in Canada in 2006. Overall, 38% of Kelowna's population is 50+ according to Stats Canada 2006. The 50+ crowd has the largest disposal income and control 70% of Canada's wealth.

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Camera ready format can be either a clean laser print or a digital copy which must be mac compatible in either QuarkXpress 4.2 NOT as an eps file but with all fonts included, Illustrator 9.0 with all fonts changed to artwork, or Photoshop 6.0 in CMYK with all fonts changed to artwork and saved either as an eps, tiff or jpeg file in a high resolution format of 300dpi. High resolution pdf file in CMYK with all fonts embedded will be accepted as well.The person making the pdf file is responsible for the quality of the file.
